Do we get scholarships?

Yes, the college provides scholarships announced by the government. The students who are in merit, only can avail scholarships. There are even scholarships for minorities.

Course Details

DCH College offers Honours and General degree courses in B.A., B.Com and B.Sc. in different subjects of specialization.

The basic eligibility criteria to take admission in any General Under-Graduate course is to pass 10+2 in relevant stream from a recognised board. However, for the Honours courses, the candidates must have secured 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 in relevant stream with 45% marks in the subject of specialization.

When not studied the related subject in the qualifying exam, then aggregate of 50% marks is needed for eligibility. Candidates with 55% marks in the specialization subject with passing marks in aggregate can also apply.

Selection of the candidates in any of these courses is purely based on the merit of the qualifying examination which is calculated with best of four subjects and the subject of specialization.

Key Points to remember for UG Admission:

The candidates with a gap of more than 3 years from the year of passing the qualifying examination are not eligible to apply for admission.
Marks of Environment Science/ Environmental Studies/ Environmental Education are not considered in the calculated of Merit.
The SC/ ST candidates must have at least 40% marks in aggregate in 10+2 in relevant stream with 40% marks in the related subject to apply for admission.
The candidates awaiting result of the qualifying examination are eligible to apply on provisional basis.

Our college in my view.

Dislikes

Our college course fees watch so expensive distinguish to another college because of we live in a a village site so this is very wrong to take the college fees so much

Fees and Financial Aid:

Our first year fees was 10000 rs 2nd year fees 6000 also 3rd year fees 6000 exam fees 1000 per semester there were 6 semester in our course so I spent 6000 rupees for exam fees. Caution fees registration fees development fees lakh fees and the other compulsory charging words around rs 2000. So my total cost of my course was around 30000 rupees I am SC but I can't get any stipend and I can't get any scholarship.

During admission, seven thousand rupees were collected. Later, the annual expenses were around five thousand rupees(this amount is for semester fees only). Additionally, some friends had to pay slightly higher semester fees because they had different subjects. However, there is a fee concession available for general students.

The year-wise fees were about 7000-8000 Rs. Then all of the course fees are approx 38000 Rs. All of the Tution fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, lab fees include this fee structure. The teaching faculty of the college is very good and well-educated. Various lab test and classes and preparation for the exam is done well.
