Admission Criteria
ADMISSION UNDER GENERAL MERIT CATEGORY
The admission under the General merit category will be on the basis of inter se merit ranking in NEET UG. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will allot seats through the process of centralized counselling. The candidates can refer www.kea.kar.nic.in for further information.
ADMISSION UNDER NRI QUOTA
The admission under NRI category is also based on NEET UG ranking. Foreign nationals are also considered for admission under this quota, once they qualify in NEET UG examinations followed by online registration and document verification by KEA, Bangalore.
Eligibility Criteria
Students looking forward to applying in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) should meet the following criteria
- Candidates should have passed 12th standard and should have obtained 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (taken together) and should have passed English as one of the subjects.
- The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December of the year of admission.

Fees and Financial Aid:
I study in Basaveshwara medical college. My allotted seat is private seat. So I am paying around 10 lakh per year. Then it also includes tuition fee 60 thousand and caution fees of 60 thousand. Admission fee was 50 thousand. All other fees like lab fees and development are included in above. I pay around 1 lakh for hostel per year. Government fees is 1 lakh with same tuition fees and caution fees and admission fees. They have same hostel fees.
Management quota seat for our year is 25 lakhs, with same tuition fees, caution fees and admission fees.
There are scholarships for category like sc, st and even Karnataka quota.

Fee for management students is expensive but for merit students is affordableThey should pay the fees regularly, they give timely notification if you miss it.
college maintains transparency in the fees structure,admissions.No additional fees as such is asked by the college to secure the admission.

Food was alright , hostel ,hospital and college are not within one campus ;have to roam one place to another .

- I liked most about my college is the way of conducting exams be it weekly tests ,internals or any exams .

The college fees structure depends on the type of seat u have been alloted.
For example as ours is private college three types of admissions are accepted
Govt seat approx 1.65lakhs
Private seat 12lakhs
NRI quota or management seat 30-35lakhs
All fees structure is per year
And additionally 75000is college fees
Extra expenses also are there included books ,uniform, exam fees etc

1.govt fees 141000 rs and 60000rs as college fees per year.
2. Hostel 180000 rs per year.
3. 26000 for record books,text books some stationary with stethoscope and lab instruments

Mbbs has 3 kinds of admissions process
1. Government colleges admissions
2. Government admissions in private colleges
3. Private admissions in private college
Fee for the 1st one for 1 year is Rs.55,000 with hostel fee if required
For 2nd one is Rs.1,25,000 for 1 year
For the 3rd one is Rs.8,35,000 for 1 year.
You'll have other charges which will come upto 15k-20k
You can apply for SSP scholarships if eligible
You'll have 1 year of compulsory internship in the hospital. And you may also get places as the tutor after completion
