Graduates of MBBS at MES Medical College undergo a compulsory internship of 1 to 1.5 years after completing the four-and-a-half-year course. During this internship, students receive a stipend ranging from Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month, with food and accommodation typically provided. The internship program is less rigorous compared to government medical colleges, but it effectively enhances clinical skills through practical exposure.
Although formal placements are not offered, MBBS graduates have strong job prospects in hospitals due to high demand for doctors in India. The college is well-reputed, facilitating easy employment opportunities with decent salaries post-graduation. Despite the low internship stipend, the program provides valuable experience and career exposure through attending various CMEs.
