Kurnool Medical College Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

The institute offers admission to the MBBS programme and higher secondary examination (10+2) qualified students can apply for admission to the course.

Eligibility Criteria

An aspirant should meet the following eligibility criteria for full-time MBBS:

• 10+2 pattern or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) or Biotechnology and English with 50% in Science subjects (40% marks by BC/SC/ST and 45% marks by OC PH).
• 17 years of age by December of the year of admission.
• Candidates must have a valid score in NEET UG.

Selection Process

The selection process of MBBS at KMC is as follows:

• Selection is done purely on the basis of merit.
• The interested candidate needs to sit for NEET UG.
• NEET UG is a national level exam conducted annually for undergraduate students. It is an offline (pen and paper) exam of a duration of 3 hours with 180 MCQ and non-MCQ questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
• Cut-off of NEET score card is declared by the selection board according to which students are admitted into the college.
• Students are admitted through All India Medical Counselling as All India quota 15% and remaining through Andhra Pradesh State Medical Counselling as State quota 85%. 
• The selected candidates are required to submit the documents and application form (with originals) for verifications.
• The acceptance of the student is granted after ensuring the validity of the documents submitted.
• Selected candidates are then required to pay the college fees in the stipulated time. In case of failure to do so the admission will be revoked.

KMC invites applications for admission to the MD course under various specializations. Students with an MBBS degree will be eligible for applying.

• Candidates should have an MBBS from a recognized institute.
• Minimum of 50% marks secured in aggregate.
• Candidates must have a valid score in NEET PG.

Selection Process 

The selection process of MD courses at KMC is as follows:

• Selection is on the basis of merit.
• The interested candidate needs to apply for NEET PG.
• NEET PG is a national level exam conducted annually for post-graduate students. It is an online exam of a duration of 3 hours with 300 multiple choice questions.
• Cut-off of NEET score card is declared by the college selection board according to which students are admitted into the course.
• The selected candidates are required to submit the documents and application form (with originals) for verifications.
• The acceptance of the student is granted after ensuring the validity of the documents submitted by the candidate.
• Selected candidates are then required to pay the college fees in the stipulated duration. In case of failure to do so the admission will be revoked.

KMC has MS programme under 6 specializations and it can be pursued by the students having MBBS degree with minimum 50% marks in the final examination.

• Candidates should have an MBBS from a recognized university.
• At least 50% marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates must have a valid score in NEET PG.

The selection process of MS at KMC is as follows:

• The interested candidate needs to sit for NEET PG.
• NEET PG is a national level exam conducted annually for undergraduate students. It is an online exam of a duration of 3 hours with 300 multiple-choice questions.
• Cut-off of NEET score card is declared by the selection board according to which merit list is declared.
• The selected candidates are required to submit the documents and application form (with originals) for the verification process.
• The acceptance of the student is granted after ensuring the validity of the documents submitted.
• Selected candidates are then required to pay the college fees in the stipulated time. In case of failure to do so the admission will be revoked.
