Admission to the college requires passing the NEET-UG exam, a highly competitive test taken by approximately 15 lakh students in 2019. Scholarships and cash prizes are available for academic excellence in specific subjects, but there is no specified scholarship for EWS students. Despite being a government institution, the fee is considered high compared to other states.
