The college offers a compulsory one-year internship after completing 4.5 years of academic studies. This internship provides hands-on experience and exposure to various medical departments, including surgery, medicine, gynaecology, ophthalmology, psychology, and paediatrics. Students receive a stipend ranging from 25,000 to 30,000 INR per month during this period. Although the college does not provide direct job placements, it facilitates internships with stipends, and students often secure positions in both government and private sectors post-internship.
Opportunities are also available abroad, particularly in the Middle East, with higher salary prospects. The internship is intense with high workloads, but it equips students to handle clinical scenarios and work in diverse healthcare settings effectively.
