Review of Medical College surat

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is new and good. New hostel are almost completed
the campus is full of greenary and spacious
The professor are very well qualified and good teaching methods.

Dislikes

There aren't much fests held by the college except some that are organised by the students

Internships Opportunities:

There would be a 1 year internship offered by the college and the stipend offered is about 22,000 rupees. Although after that there is no organised placement program but most of the people land up to a job.

MBBS for a State GMC Glance about Government medical college

Likes

Appreciable thing in our college is its 'legacy', college was established in 1962 and since then is the major tertiary care centre in south gujarat
Its 'infrastructure' is appreciable, new college building is fabulous and madsive with 4 lecture halls, examination halls and all laboratories. The old college building is under renovation
'Exposure' The associated hospital New Civil Hospital is the busiest tertiary care centre of the region with more than 500 patient inflow on daily basis providing vest possible exposure to unique cases

Dislikes

Management, poor management with problematic extra curricular activities, sports and events
Exam schedules are hectic, but its not about the college, its about the course
Faculties are smart but some faculties are highly irritable and angry

Internships Opportunities:

The internships at our college are at new Civil hospital, surat any new companies are associated with this programme. The internship stipend is provided by the government of Gujarat which is 20500 per month.

The college faculties are very nice and they teach well
There is new college building and the learning experience is very good
There are AC lecture halls that is very comfortable

Dislikes

The hostel is not so good but it soon will be replaced by new ones
There is not so much things to dislike about the college

Internships Opportunities:

In the MBBS there no any kind of company which provides u internship but the internship is done in the hospital itself which is civil government hospital . The stipend is also provided by the government as the college is government college.

Likes

The fees on the college is to low as compared to private colleges with 1 cr fees
Facultys are well experienced and educated
You get compulsory internship which teach you all things

Dislikes

The hostel are too old you don't get porsnol washroom
The sports facilities are not that much you don't get any court
The total seats are too much for one classroom 250 students

Likes

College campus, hostel facility and fees, college faculty is very supportive
Large college campus and very environment friendly big play groud
Also chances for extra currricular activity cultural fest every year

Internships Opportunities:

After the completion of the 4.5-year MBBS course, you will have to compulsorily do an internship in a hospital for 1 year in which you will be provided 20000 salaries per month, and after the internship, you will be provided with an MBBS degree.

A complete idea about my college

Likes

Academics of our college is very good it's very strict regular exams are conducted
The hospital associated with our college has extremely high percent load which makers go through a good clinical exposure
The location of our college is in the centre of the city due to which the connectivity through the rest of the city are very good

Dislikes

These sports faculty of our college is not that good. During the rainy season the condition of a ground is very bad.
For the student who are from outside Gujarat get issue in fooding as the food need in Mess is of Gujarati type

Internships Opportunities:

There is a compulsory internship of one year after a period of 4.5 years of our course. This stipend for the internship is 18000. The stipend s going to be increased soon up to 23000. The internship is hectic.

Campus is good in 150 acre with lots of gardens
Professor are well qualified, regular exam are conducted
Canteen is good,new hostel are being made

Dislikes

Central ground is not maintained.there is ntg in the name of sports

Internships Opportunities:

The internship stipend in 18000 per month The intern life is quite hectic There is a lot of toxicity,u can be called anytime in college for duty The patient load is very high in the hospital with daily patient load of approx 3500.

Campus is very greeny, peaceful, and big... It is no doubt beautiful for nature lovers though present in the middle of the City Surat...
Some Faculties are more open towards learning and providing their experience towards benefit of students.
New college building is good, providing AC, WiFi and projector in classroom...

Dislikes

Campus gets full of mud leading toh spread of diseases. Thus Dengue, malaria are very common and endemic in the Surat
Some Facultes in the departments shows internal politics causing disputes in between the departments and also affecting the students
College is currently of very toxic environment both for UG and PG. Departments have no idea of what they are regulating and just showing there ego on the posts in department,Full of castism ,diffrenciating on basis of origin of student(State or AIQ)

Internships Opportunities:

As the MBBS course itself consist of 1 year internship, college provides in year internship currently at stipend of ?19000 per month But will change from the next session and generally is changes every 3-4 terms(annual).

in this course, we need to do a compulsory one-year internship. after completion of the internship, we get a degree. In Gujrat there is a rule for internships that bound us to do a job in a hospital that is connected to the medical College in which we studied and also we get an 18k stipend per month during the internship

Internships Opportunities:

The whole internship in surat is in New Civil Hospital, Surat. The stipend is 13000 per month. It is in various departments like general surgery, general medicine, obstetrics-gynecology, PSM, pediatrics, ent, ophthalmology, psychiatry, skin and vd, orthopedics, emergency medicine. An internship gives a lot of work and learning and hands-on experience in every department, one of the best in Gujarat.
