- The academics is strict, which both good and bad ,depedning upon what you want from your college life

Theres a cumpolsory 1 year internship post mbbs, with a stipend of 11000 per month , you also get to do clinical postings from your second year onwards, to help you out wjth clincial knowledge, otherwise you dont need any other internships

- Good patient load so a you get a good hands on experience

- Hostel timing of this college is terrible its 7pm which is early
- The college administration is not supportive
- More events and better facilities should be provided

You will get to do a mandatory 1year internship the college hospital itself after finishing your final year examinations its here you are paid accordance to the rule laid out by the university kuhs but there is no company coming to hire you as a doctor

- Faculty and academics are really nice.They are very supportive.

- The infrastructure is poor and very old.
- They have strict hostel curfew for both girls and boys
- The hostel rooms are slightly congested.
Internships Opportunities:
After five years of college after passing the university exam we have one year of internship.In internship we gain lot of clinical experiences .
The stiphend is thirteen thousand rupees approximately.

- The batchmates I have are the best. It is the best treasure I have earned there.

- The infrastructure is not good. It need a better improvement
- The behaviour of the hospital staffs are not upto. Not all
- The food given here is the worst. Need better improvement

They provide 1 year of compulsory intership in this college itself. Also some are posted in kazhakootam hospital also. No other internships are provided.
Research works are promoted here. Students are asked to research on the topic of their desire and publish in NMC.

- The festivals in the college, basicaly onam, pongal, vishu, holi and Christmas celebrations.
- The faculties and non faculties are very impressed.
- The special places in college like Colosseum and the special moments from friends.

- The hostel and menu with mess foods are very boring.
- The securities in the college are very horrible.
- Doesn't going to home and it require many pass systems.

The internship is available in college for every final year passing students. The stipend for the students is only from college also. The work for the interns are providing care and proper diagnosis with treatments are giving students.

A lot of ICMR projects are being approved for students of our college which is beneficial for our future admissions.
Other quizzes and intermedia seminar presentations are being participated in by our students.
The national untermedico quiz was conducted at pir college by the previous college union '21-'22.

In the medical field, you can do an internship within the course with the STS students scholarship program provided by the ICMR for 2 months internship. Otherwise, you can go for an internship after completion of the course of four and half years and then a one-year internship

Placement Experience:
Placements are not available in the college. After mandatory HS, we are free to find jobs. Many passed out students remain in the college as tutors while preparing for their PG entrances. Some also teach nursing and/or paramedical students. As an MBBS degree is not enough to get a job, everyone plans on joining for PG courses. MBBS degree will only get us as far as a casualty doctor or medical officer in a PMC.
