Internships Opportunities:

Deccan is affiliated with two hospitals of its own, one Owaisi Hospital and the other Esra hospital, both located in different localities giving them different exposures and differen patient backgrounds. However, one thing you have to remember is that you will NOT be provided a stipend while working as a student. This is true for most private colleges though.

However, I do know that you will be placed in either of the two hospitals (Esra Hospital and Owaisi Hospital) or both depending on the situation and requirements

Placement Experience:

The internship/posting provides a great first hand experience to the students to deal with patients and their issues. The college pays a decent stipend too. The students then have great job opportunities.

A great experience.

College have very few placement. But, college gives students all support required for getting ready for job. Students with better academic records can easily get jobs in government hospitals. Student persuading master degree make more eligibility for jobs.

The percentage of students placed is good. They get accompanied by top-class hospitals after their internships. Post-graduation is also available in our college. After the internships, students start preparing for PG-exam.

Great College!

Packages for pg candidates ranges from 1 lakh to 1.5 lakhs. From hospitals to clinics, the opportunities are vast and there is always a vacancy for specialists. The internship is provided to the students through the college itself.

The college helped us a lot to provide one year of compulsory rotatory internship, which was unpaid of course but the experience was so great. We had our postings, the rounds with the senior doctors but then we were asked to go on the rounds all by ourselves.

For MBBS students there is no particular placement available, but we are given a Stipend of Rs.30000. More opportunities are for Pg students in MBBS. There are hospitals hiring pg students just after their Pg course. Internship period provides a lot of experience to the students.
