CMC Vellore M.Ch: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

CMC Vellore will start accepting the application forms from the second week of May and as per the recent notification they will accept the same by the second week of June (tentatively). No official dates have been announced yet.  

Aspirants seeking admission to 2 year Full-time Diploma Program should have passed (10+2) or its equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology. The first year fee is INR 4,950, and 2^nd year fee is INR 4,575 at the CMC Vellore. Candidates can access the application online by paying the requisite fee. 

Admission to the CMC Vellore BPT is done on the basis of marks secured in the CBT exam followed by personal assessment and special interview.

CMC Vellore does not offer PG Diploma in Hospital and Health Management program. But the college offers PG Diploma in Community Health Management and PG Diploma in Hospital Administration programs separately. The last date to apply for these programs for the 2023-24 academic session was April 3, 2023.

CMC Vellore has closed the B.Sc programs admission process for the 2022-23 academic session. You will be able to apply for admission only when the university’s admission portal is live. The online admission portal for the 2022-23 academic was closed on June 3, 2022.

CMC Vellore has not confirmed the admission date for the 2023-24 acadmeic session for the PB B.Sc Nursing program. But the admission registration process for the 2023-24 academic session is likely to begin in April 2023. You can get admission to the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) on the basis of scores on the entrance test conducted by the college. The fee for the course is INR 45,000 for the duration of 3 years which includes various charges such as registration fees, examination fees, security deposit, etc.

To get admission in the PB B.Sc Nursing program of CMC Vellore, you must have completed a GNM course after passing Class XII examinaton from a recognized board. Admission will be granted based on the merit of the entrance test and personal interview conducted by the university.

Christian Medical College does not offer BASLP to students. There are various other UG courses offered by the college such as Bachelor of Physiotherapy and B.Sc. Nursing.

The fees for the Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) can be anywhere between INR 2,12,000 – INR 2,50,000 for the duration of 5 years & 6 months which includes various charges such as security deposit, registration fees, medical charges, and college development fund. 

Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore does not offer a bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Anesthesia Technology but you can apply to other colleges such as Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) Tirupati, Indira Gandhi Medical College, Government Medical College and Hospital, etc. 

Students who have passed Class XII examination from a recognized board with English and PCB subjects are eligible to apply for admission to the B.Sc Nursing course of CMC Vellore. Application forms can be submitted through the online registration portal available on the college’s official website. 

CMC Vellore has not yet started the admission process for B.Sc. Ophthalmic Technology. It is expected that the admission process will be soon started on the official website of the college.

The total course fee for the B.Sc Nursing course of CMC Town Campus is INR 173300, while the total course fee for the CMC Chittoor Campus is INR 133100. The course duration at the Town Campus is four years while the course duration at the Chittoor Campus is only three years.
