I liked the environment of my college . Professors are very coordinating and helpful .
I liked the other students since there was nothing judgemental in behaviour of my classmates.
we have good and affordable food options in our cafeteria and canteen. The cafeteria is also a very nice and happening spot to hangout.

Dislikes

My batch was 1st who entered through cuet so the crowd which was there earlier was little creepy but as they passed out from college now it is very hospitable.
Sometimes the gaps in timetable in between the classes to much.
There are 5 blocks in total so the cleanliness and hygiene in old block is not maintained sometimes. And also the college does not provide placements

Internships Opportunities:

I do not have specific insights about the internships available but there are tech companies or startups which conduct workshops and provide internship oppurtunity . There are various other companies as well who do provide digital internship.

Life in college so far

Likes

I personally like the cafeteria area of my college very much. There's always so much crowd over there but that place is the best one to hangout with your friends in college. The food there is delicious and also affordable
Our economics faculty is very nice, supportive and cooperative. They always try to help you in each and every way possible. They help you with your doubts also
I love the classrooms of our college, they are pretty large in size and are very airy so it doesn't feel conjusted

Dislikes

There's no such thing about college which I dislike, it's just some seniors from ba program or ba pol hons which are very creepy. Otherwise, everything else is pretty good

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't done any internship so far, but I'm very much involved in live projects brought up by my college society and also I'm very active in my college societies and ofcourse I'm learning so many things from all this

Underrated College of DU!

Likes

Personally, I like the crowd. Students are mostly very cool and not like mean and stuff.
Teacher's are supportive and help out whenever needed.
Attendance is not a compulsion, however marks are not given below 67%

Dislikes

Some teachers disapprove of people pursuing other secondary courses as well..
Infrastructure could be a bit better considering the ratings of the college

Placement Experience:

Students from 3rd year onwards may sit for placements. There are several companies visiting our college for placements, such as Zomato, Tech Mahindra, EY, MagicPin, etc. My plans after getting the degree personally include pursuing a PG degree.

I like the faculty of college they are just brilliant
I like the infrastructure of this college very neat and clean

Dislikes

there is not a single thing which I don't like

Internships Opportunities:

a lot of internships are available in college the internship cell is very active, recently pwc and Deloitte also recruited interns from our college,mostly internship are in field of accounting finance and sales

Fun life at college

Likes

Crowd of bcom hons, eco hons is good and overall also it is good and seniors are really helpful.
College campus is really good and classrooms are also very nice, there is proper air in all the classrooms.
Faculty of our commerce Department is really helpful, supportive and cooperative. They take classes on regulat basis. And also they solve your doubts via whatsapp as well

Dislikes

Its just the chaos during elections and fest which i don't like, other things are really good

I haven't done any internship so far but our college do provide internship opportunities because im a such kind of person who loves enjoying with friends more but i have received many certificatios through some online courses.

My life At Deshbandhu

My Favorite part of the college is the college library which I really admire. It is a two storied building with multiple reading halls and a lot of books.
Another thing that I admire is the college canteen which has adequate space for everyones sitting.
Another thing i admire about the college is our conference hall, which is built in a state of the art manner.

Dislikes

I dislike the Boys Washroom quality which is generally not clean.
I Dislike the College WIFI which is close to non existing.
I dislike the beauracratic behavior of non teaching staff which makes it difficult to conduct events.

The Placements in my college are mostly limited to marketing, HR and basic level Finance Jobs. You could expect a Decent placement of 4-6 lacs in your last semester. In your previous semester you could apply for internships. However not everyone gets placed.

Cafetaria red hut is perfect for hangout with good food and cheap rates you can get full meal in 60 rupess only
Campus compared to other. College is big and filled with greenry and trees we also have pond for hangout

Dislikes

During elections there is a lot of commotion and chaos in the campus

The untold side of Deshbandhu College

Likes

I had an amazing experience at deshbandhu college! The professors are knowledgeable and supportive, and the campus is vibrant with extracurricular activities.
It has the biggest library amongst all college of DU. Very beautiful and green environment of the college gives you a fresh and relaxing feeling.
The college is in decent area so there is no unnecessary sound and good place to study calmly

Dislikes

Staff is very rude.. they literally denied to pack our left over food and cake, and when we just informed this at billing counter, the billing person was so rude and said us not to visit the place again.
The canteen is very messy and need some improvement. It looks dirty.
The gym of desbandhu college is just trash there is no equipment only dumbbells are available and in only 2 size 15 kg and 20 kg.

Internships Opportunities:

Many companies offers intership like Deloitte, tata , reliance, pe and many more. The teacher also search for new internship opportunities and help the students to grow ???? Every month we get to know that internship are going on and if someone want internship opportunities they can reach deshbandhu college website to join in internship.

My Experience at Deshbandhu College

I really like the faculty here. The professors of not my subject but others as well are very kind and genuinely helpful..And most importantly they are all very experienced in their respective fields.
The campus around here is also very nice... although it's not as big as some prominent north campus colleges but in south campus deshbandhu boasts one of the biggest campus that spreads across 10 acres.
The cafeteria area here is my favourite. It always is charged with some or the other activities and is buzzing with students.. Societies of college are also very nice and interesting...

Dislikes

The canteen of college is what i don't like...It doesn't have much variety and the food also is not that good

Deshbandhu has a decent placement record and in 3 rd year campus starts comming to students. The average package here is around ?2-3.5LPA. A good strength of students gets selected for campus placements every year.. During the college years many companies even comes for internships for students. These are available for even 1st year students. Personally I'll be going for a post graduation after getting my graduation degree to boost my skills in today's competitive World.

The faculty of bcom hons is very experienced. They are very knowledgeable and supportive.
Fee is very affordable which helps students from every background to afford higher education.
Deshbandhu college stands at rank 13 in nirf ranking.

Dislikes

There is not as such not to like , every student has there personal preferences about the college.

Internships Opportunities:

There are many intership opportunities available. Different societies and placement cell provides information for various opportunities. Seniors and teachers also inform about the intership opportunities. There is a wide range of roles available according to your degree. You can have work from home interships as well.
