- Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science - Neuroscience is a 4 years program at the University of Ottawa.
- This program is taught in English and French. So, students must opt for their language of Instruction.
- Biomedical Science is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on the fundamentals of human structure and function, as well as those of other animals.
- In this program, the first two years provide a background in human anatomy and psychology, in addition to more in-depth knowledge in basic sciences like biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and mathematics.
- At the end of the second year, students may choose from an array of optional courses and obtain a minor in one of many programs offered, or they can choose an option within the biomedical sciences (Neuroscience, Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Bioanalytical Science, Medicinal Chemistry or Biostatistics).
- On graduation, students will be ready for more advanced research training or for admission to a professional program in human health.
- Students in the Biomedical Sciences program are also eligible to participate in the Co-Operative Education Programs.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- A minimum combined average of 70% is required for all prerequisite courses in science and mathematics.
- Applicants have prior knowledge in two of the following: Biology, Chemistry, Physics
- The minimum marks required are 70% or marks equivalent to Grade B.
- Admission to this program is competitive and higher averages are required.
Language Requirments:
- The students must be able to understand and fluently speak the language of instruction (French or English) in the program. Proof of linguistic proficiency may be required at the time of admission.
- The students whose official language is not English must submit the English Language Proficiency scores like IELTS or TOEFL.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- The students must have completed 10th and intermediate i.e 12th grade which has science and mathematics courses with 70% marks.
