- York University offers an MS in Management Practice program that is designed to prepare students for leadership roles in the field of Management.
- This program at York University is offered in a full-time and part-time basis.
- Master of Science in Management Practice (MScMP), a program designed to provide future leaders in organizations with a robust understanding of management practices rooted in applied research and analysis that inform evidence-based decision making.
- The MScMP focuses on the most up-to date research and analytical methods and the support they can provide in running an organization.
- The program allows the students to focus specifically in one of the areas – Accounting, Marketing, Supply chain management, Entrepreneurship and innovation, and Managing professionals.

- be familiar with key methods of qualitative and quantitative research, data collection and analysis needed for improving an organization’s performance;
- be familiar with emerging trends and tools in the cognitive technology of data analytics and understand their limitations;
- be able to apply relevant theories, methodologies, and critical thinking skills to identify and solve organizational/management problems and issues;
- be able to identify sources of information and data best suited to inform managerial decisions while understanding ethical considerations in using personal data for research;
- be able to work efficiently in groups and teams and to effectively communicate analyses, outcomes and conclusions to a range of audiences.
