- I wanted to become a Web Developer. I choose web development in my PG level because it is the only course that is available in Conestoga College.
Required Exams for Admission
It is very hard . College goes on full mode giving lots of assignments. Lots of exams in short period of time of 4 months. They give random timetable which is very hard to make habit of if we are working outside of the college.
Course Curriculum
My course is pretty much updated but some professors are teaching 2017 made PDF . We are not given any industrial exposure because we don't have a co-op.
Faculty
We have total of 6 sections. I am from section 6. One professor teaches for about 26 students.
Campus Life
Campus is pretty cool. We have got a lake. The area is huge. The CSI is helpful . They conduct many extra activities.
Placement
We don't have co-op. So, we have to search jobs for ourselves. No companies are going to come hire us from college. Salary starts from $20,000 per annum.
Accommodation
I have rented out a apartment with sharing with friends. It costs us 600 $ without utilities. I have to pay first and last month rent in advance and sign a contract.
Exams
My PTE scores is 79/90. I got 90/90 in Speaking. I got 80/90 in Reading. I got 78/90 in writing. And i got 75/90 in Listening. I had to send this score to the college to get acceptance. I had to submit my SOP. I wrote about my experience and interest in web development to pursue my career and why i choose Canada as a destination country.
Fees
My total fees is $39,000/- for 4 semesters . It doesn't have a break . It is hard for studying continuously for 16 months.
Scholarship
No. My program doesn't qualify for scholarship.
