Required Exams for Admission

IELTS (7)

I met students from across the world so it was a satisfying experience. I learnt about the Canadian culture that helped me in my workplace later. I felt the college put that effort in ensuring that we succeeded in passing the course and get into a job as early as possible.

Course Curriculum

8

There was an emphasis on soft courses that improved the communication skills and personality of the students. Most of the subjects were basic but kept us busy with assignments.

Faculty

8

A class had around 30 students. There were few teachers who were knowledgeable in their subject, others were helpful and friendly with students. It was a good combination.

Campus Life

7

Even though there is a campus, I did not use the library. The books for some courses had to be purchased. The sports facilities is limited and again I didn't see anyone use them.

Placement

4

Our course did not have any placements but there was 1 month unpaid internship provided by some local companies like Loblaws. Some of the interns continued working in the company. The starting salary is around CAD$45,000 p.a.

Accommodation

Off Campus
8

The college is situated in downtown and there are rooms and 1 bedroom apartments available for single students. For rooms the rent would be around CAD$600 p.m. and for 1 bedroom it would be around CAD$1,000 p.m. Food cost will be extra. Buses are easily available if required to go around the city.

Exams

There is no exam requirement. Only IELTS. Any score above 6.5 in all sections of IELTS is fine. There is no admission criteria. This course is mainly for experienced people. SOP is not mandatory but I had submitted it. The application and fees is online and easy. In SOP I had highlighted my relevant experience for the Financial Management course. There were no tests or interviews.

Fees

For the 2 year course it was around CAD $22,000.
