What Students Say
Likes
- Winnipeg city is not too small not big. It's a great city with 2 universities. Also, It offers Masters program so I was interested in the same program only
- Winnipeg university offers nice courses for Masters. You will get good pratical knowledge about every courses you will take. Also, there are only few students in the classroom, so professors are able to help each students with their questions on personal basis.
Dislikes
- They do not offer courses in summer also no help to university students to find first internship or job. Other universities have their dedicated portal and help to find students first job but it is not available at Winnipeg university
Overall we can consider this university as an option to study. My overall experience was good as I completed the courses on time.
Course Curriculum
Course options are not that much great comapared to other university. You have to do certain courses in order to finish masters which you are not interested in.
Faculty
Faculty and staffs are very knowledgeable. They certainly did a great job teaching every subjects. Even some courses are completely new, I was able to pass those with good grades.
Campus Life
Campus is not big like Manitoba university. It's located in downtown and there are some bulding. Classrooms are good. Also they arrange different festivals like holi in the university.
Placement
Not that good as we never got any help or no dedicated department to hep students to get job. But if you can land on job after masters, then you will get minimum salary around $55k depending on your position and expertise.
Accommodation
I was living as a PG with one family. It really depends on how you want to live. If you need personal room and all other facilities, then you will spend like $1000/ month for living and food. Other expenses are different.
Exams
IELTS: - 7. CGPA:- 8 or above. It only needs IELTS not GRE or TOFEL or any other exams. SOP, LOR and also complete application with all the details.
Fees
16000 CAD/YEAR for 2 years.
