What Students Say
Likes
- Easy process, helping staff, and hassle-free as they have their own team members guiding through the process. I had experience in sales so I chose marketing management
- Location - Downtown, Vancouver, right next to the beach
- Professors - Most professors are understanding and helpful. The way they explain things are commendable.
Dislikes
- "Exorbitant fee structure. Moreover, hey seek fees for books over and above the fees paid to them which can cost from $50 to $100. It's located in Vancouver, Downtown which is super expensive. If you stay in Surrey/ Langley, it may take up to 1.5 hours to reach the campus. "
Required Exams for Admission
It was okay, my purpose was to re-settle there but the cost of living is huge as compared to the income. more than 1/3 income goes in rent.
Course Curriculum
It was good and inline with AI and ML trends.
Faculty
25-30 to 1, they are all good and most of them are immigrants so they understand the pain that an international student goes through. Dave Keighron, Dominica Hanc are the two whom anyone would love to take sessions with.
Campus Life
It's a small campus, don't expect much. they don't have extra curricular, even if they do, you won't be able to attend that because you are in Vancouver and you need to work to survive, not to attend any events.
Placement
None available here
Accommodation
At least 600 CAD/ month for sharing and 1000 CAD for a private room in Surrey and Langley, you can double it if you wish to stay in Vancouver.
Exams
IELTS Requirement - 6.5 overall, with no less than 6 in any module. My score was L - 7, R - 7, S- 7.5, W - 7.5 It's required to file the VISA only, not for the university.
Fees
37,100 CAD
Scholarship
Yes, for IELTS, I got 4000 CAD, because I had 7 or more in each module. It's automatically done. $800 would be taken off from each term.
