My experience in University of Western Australia

Likes

At the end of the day it is the best University in Perth, and that does have some value to it.
Given its heritage, it feels good to know about famous personalities that studied here, feels good to be part of history

Dislikes

Campus is not big (as compared to Symbiosis), but still better than majority of university in Australia
Should have more help for career development
Costlier than other universities in Perth

You can either rent a house/room somewhere just like in India or live in a student accommodation that is not part of the university.
Finding a house is the toughest thing in Australia, though.
The only tip would be to go somewhere where you already know a few people who live there, so that you can get some immediate help in getting accommodation.
