- The most likeable thing is that we get a good blend of research faculty and industry-aligned faculties.
Course Curriculum
The assignments would be more of case studies which are like real-world problems and through discussions and brainstorming we are supposed to find the solution. About the course structure, it is divided into a lecture of 2 hrs and 1-hour tutorial where the class is divided into a small group and the lecture content is discussed.

- I absolutely love the University of Melbourne for several reasons. First, the infrastructure is state-of-the-art, providing a conducive environment for both learning and research. Dislikes
- While there's a lot to appreciate about the University of Melbourne, there are a few areas that could be improved. One aspect is the high cost of living and tuition, which can be a significant burden for many students. Additionally, the academic workload is sometimes overwhelming, which can affect work-life balance, especially for those also handling part-time jobs or extracurricular activities. Another issue is that some administrative processes can be slow or bureaucratic, which can be frustrating when trying to resolve issues quickly. Lastly, while the university offers many resources, navigating them can be challenging for new students, who might struggle to find the right support at the right time.
Course Curriculum
Since I'm still in my first semester, my experience with the course curriculum and academics at the University of Melbourne has been quite positive so far. The syllabus for the Master of Information Systems feels updated and relevant, incorporating the latest trends and technologies in the field. While I haven't had extensive industrial exposure or research experience just yet, the program structure does promise practical learning opportunities and interactions with industry professionals through various modules. This approach ensures that we, as students, are not only academically prepared but also industry-ready by the time we graduate.

Its a a wonderful course for someone who wishes to get into the IT world as a consultant. Business analyst, IT manager, Business modelling are some of the key positions. Over the past 5 years the course of IS has grown by 24% and seems to keep growing.
The UoM has a high research output and is ranked 32 all over the world. It has a great academic and employment reputation. Moreover the structure of the course I selected seemed to meet my interest as well. To add to this Australia is a beautiful country to travel in as well and Melbourne ranks in the world's top 10 most livable cities.
Course Curriculum
The Course Curriculum and Academics are excellent. The syllabus is very relevant and gets our foot into the door of our chosen field. However, there is some level of individual effort required to learn what is currently Industry standard as the University does standardize its course a bit. However, all tools used and taught like Matlab, etc. are taught using up-to-date versions.

The yearly tuition fee for my program is approximately 45000 AUD and the total tuition fee for a standard 3-year degree is 170000 AUD.
Course Curriculum
The course at Unimelb is very structured and crafted according to the practical approaches in the industry. The course I have opted is Information Systems, The coursework was according to the industry standards, We have a myriad of subjects which are very helpful for us to understand the working of the industry.
University of Melbourne is the renowned institution in Australia. It's ranked first among the many universities in Australia. The main reason for opting Unimelb is because of it's world class education, The research opportunities and I was much interested in the pragmatic and logical approach by the university.
Course Curriculum
I think the course is overall ok. But some subjects shouldn't consist of too much writing, which I think is not practical in the case of designing. But there are opportunities such as an exchange program which is good.

Tuition Fees are to be paid every semester and it varies with different subjects. Using facilities such as the printer may charges.
