  • Bachelor’s degree with 55% or CGPA 5.5/10 (recommended); DBA requires 5+ years of executive experience
  • English test minimum: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 70, or PTE 60 (verify at official admissions page)
  • Evaluation fee USD 60 (₹5,680)
  • Interview via video conference; MAIB requires 4 units of Math, CS, Economics, Engineering, or Science in the bachelor’s

  • English test minimum: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 60, PTE 50, or Duolingo 85
  • Entrance test: SAT, ACT, SPJET (USD 45), or JEE Main accepted

Key insight: Indian applicants from English-medium schools (CBSE, ISC, English-medium state boards) may submit a certified Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter instead of IELTS or TOEFL, saving both test fees and time.

S P Jain School of Global Management Acceptance Rate 2027

The SP Jain acceptance rate is estimated at 13% (estimated), based on third-party admissions data since the school does not publish official selectivity figures. This makes SP Jain among the more selective private business schools accepting Indian applicants in Australia.

Selectivity varies by programme: MAIB and BBA remain the most oversubscribed due to Sydney-year quotas, while the DBA sees higher acceptance driven by executive-profile fit rather than raw metrics. SP Jain evaluates on a weighted rubric of academics, entrance test performance, interview, and work experience.

Reality check: The 13% headline masks strong odds for well-prepared Indian applicants with SPJET/SAT scores in the top quartile and a clear career narrative.

S P Jain School of Global Management Rankings 2026

SP Jain’s strongest current ranking is #29 in QS International Trade Rankings 2026 for its Executive MBA, with a rising trend from #23 in 2025 (rank number reflects a widened peer pool). It is not ranked in QS World, THE World, or US News Best Global University editions since these lists cover comprehensive universities rather than standalone business schools.

QS also placed SP Jain #68 globally for its Master’s in International Trade and #16 in Middle East & Africa for the Full-time MBA in 2025.

Key insight: For Indian applicants, the Bloomberg Asia-Pacific #7 rank matters more for regional recruiter pull than any global list, since APAC-based hiring drives SP Jain placements.

S P Jain School of Global Management Placements and Career Outcomes 2027

SP Jain placements draw from a multi-city recruiter network spanning Sydney, Singapore, Dubai, and Mumbai, with a careers cell that supports every cohort from Day 1.

  • Employment within 6 months: 90%+ across postgraduate cohorts (school-disclosed)
  • Median starting salary (MAIB, market median): AUD 82,000 (₹53.43 lakh)
  • Median BBA starting salary (market median): AUD 65,000 (₹42.35 lakh)
  • Top recruiter sectors: consulting, banking, tech, FMCG, and logistics; representative employers include Amazon, Deloitte, HSBC, KPMG, and Accenture
  • Post-study work: BBA and MAIB graduates qualify for the Australia subclass 485 visa, giving 2 to 4 years of open work rights at Sydney

Insider note: Indian graduates recruited into Sydney-based roles typically bring 6 to 12 months of internship experience through the multi-city rotation, which local employers value over pure academic credentials.

S P Jain School of Global Management vs Peer Universities

Peer comparison places SP Jain against Sydney-based business schools and Asia-Pacific private B-schools popular with Indian applicants. Fee columns show total programme cost.

UniversityQS Rank 2027Avg PG Fee (AUD)Avg PG Fee (₹ INR lakh)Differentiator
S P Jain School of Global ManagementNA (specialised B-school)AUD 70,875₹46.18 lakhMulti-city rotation across Sydney, Dubai, Singapore

Melbourne Business School#37AUD 98,500 (market median)₹64.19 lakhFT-ranked full-time MBA

SP Jain stands out on cost efficiency and multi-city exposure, with total MAIB tuition roughly 30% below Group of Eight equivalents while still granting Australian post-study work rights.

The four-year multi-city BBA at SP Jain remains one of the only options letting Indian undergraduates earn credit at three global campuses on a single degree.

SP Jain suits Indian students who want an Australian degree at ₹1.27 crore all-in for the BBA or ₹46.18 lakh for the MAIB, paired with the Bloomberg Asia-Pacific #7 recruiter network and the Australia subclass 485 post-study work visa. Return on the MAIB investment lands inside 3 to 4 years at the AUD 82,000 median salary, and the multi-city rotation delivers three passport stamps before graduation.

It is not the fit for candidates set on a Group of Eight research brand or subsidised public tuition; those applicants should look at University of Sydney or UNSW instead. SP Jain is a specialised private school that trades research prestige for industry immersion, so the value case rests on career acceleration, not academic pedigree.

S P Jain School of Global Management FAQs

Ques. What English test waivers does SP Jain accept for Indian students?

Ans. SP Jain accepts a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter in place of IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or Duolingo for Indian applicants whose most recent qualification was completed in English. This covers CBSE, ISC, and English-medium state board graduates. The MOI must be issued on official school letterhead, signed by the principal, and confirm English as the language of instruction and examination.

Ques. How long can Indian graduates work in Australia after SP Jain?

Ans. BBA and MAIB graduates from SP Jain Sydney qualify for the Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485), giving 2 years of open work rights for bachelor’s holders and up to 4 years for masters-level graduates who studied in regional areas. Applications must be lodged within 6 months of course completion, and applicants need valid health insurance plus recent English proficiency evidence.

Ques. Can Indian students work part-time while studying at SP Jain Sydney?

Ans. Yes, the Australian student visa (subclass 500) permits up to 48 hours of paid work per fortnight during term time and unlimited hours during scheduled breaks. Most Indian students at SP Jain Sydney take on-campus roles or hospitality shifts in Lidcombe and Auburn, earning between AUD 25 and AUD 32 per hour under the minimum wage rules.

Ques. Does SP Jain require GMAT or GRE for the MAIB programme?

Ans. SP Jain does not mandate GMAT or GRE for the Master of AI in Business at Sydney; the admission decision rests on academics, interview performance, and evidence of 4 units in Math, CS, Economics, Engineering, or Science in the bachelor’s. Candidates with strong GMAT or GRE scores may submit them optionally to strengthen scholarship consideration.

Ques. What is the SP Jain application fee for Indian applicants?

Ans. SP Jain charges no application fee at submission for any Sydney programme. Indian applicants pay only the SPJET entrance test fee of USD 45 (₹4,260) if they choose SPJET over SAT, ACT, or JEE Main, plus an evaluation fee of USD 55 for undergraduate and USD 60 for postgraduate programmes. Both fees are payable online during application.

Ques. Which Indian banks recognise SP Jain for education loans?

Loans up to ₹1.5 crore are available without collateral for MAIB, subject to co-applicant income proof. Processing typically takes 2 to 3 weeks after admission letter receipt.

Ques. How does the SP Jain multi-city BBA rotation work?

Ans. The SP Jain BBA runs 4 years across three campuses: years 1 and 2 at Singapore or Dubai, and years 3 and 4 at Sydney. Students earn a single Australian bachelor’s degree accredited by TEQSA, with the Sydney years counting toward post-study work visa eligibility. Each rotation includes an industry immersion project with local employers in the host city.

Ques. Are dependents allowed to accompany Indian students at SP Jain Sydney?

Ans. Yes, Australia permits dependent spouses and children to join subclass 500 student visa holders at SP Jain Sydney. Spouses of masters-level students may work unlimited hours, while spouses of BBA students face the 48-hour fortnightly cap. Financial proof requirements add roughly AUD 10,000 per adult dependent and AUD 4,000 per child to the visa savings threshold.

Overview

I have chosen this university for some reasons which are, the study program and material provided by the university. The second reason is the location. The admission process is easy, the forms can be collected at the front office and there is always a person to guide you on how to fill up the form. I haven't taken any coaching for admission

Campus Life

Life at my campus is very good, all my fellow classmates also have a good nature and they are mature. The environment at university is always cool. We also celebrate Christmas and Diwali together. Facilities like the library and medical assistance are also present there. There is a club name blue ray that I have joined.

Overview

Firstly, I chose this university since they offer a tri-city model program (Singapore, Dubai, and Sydney). The second reason is the scholarship covering nearly my tuition fee. Thirdly, the school itself is a pool of diversity.
