MPTAAS: Check Scholarship Schemes, Last Date, Eligibility, Application Form

Madhya Pradesh Tribal Affairs Automation System (MPTAAS) Scholarship is an initiative of the Government of Madhya Pradesh under the Department of Tribal Welfare for the financial assistance students who are from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities. The grant amount for MPTAAS varies widely, depending on the education group, from around ₹230 to ₹1,500 per month for day scholars and ₹380 to ₹2,800 per month for hostellers. The scholarships are available for students from Class 11 to PhD students for education-related expenses. The last date to apply for this scholarship is December 2025. MPTAAS scholarship is a Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme, where the scholarship amount is credited directly to the beneficiaries' bank accounts by the process of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

The scholarship amount varies depending on the education group and whether the student is a hosteller or a day scholar.

The scholarship covers academic expenses such as tuition fees, hostel fees, stationery, and other education-related costs.

How to Apply for MPTAAS Scholarship 2025-26

Students can apply online for the MPTAAS scholarship, either using Method 1 or Method 2 listed below:

Method 1 (Tribal Affairs Department Portal):

1. Go the official MPTAAS site – tribal.mp.gov.in/mptaas

2. Press "New Beneficiary Profile Registration" option

3. Enter your Aadhaar Number, Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Caste Certificate Number, and other details enquired in the field.

4. Check your mobile number, by confirming with the OTP sent to your mobile

5. Create your User ID, create User Password, and then get into your profile

6. Choose Post Matric Scholarship option and type in the academic and personal details

7. Press Submit option after uploading the required documents

8. Print the form that are submitted.

Method 2 (MP Scholarship Portal):

1. Step into the MP Scholarship Portal (scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in)

2. Register as a new user by filling in the application details

3. Choose MPTAAS out of all available scholarships

4. Upload the documents requested and submit your application

Documents Required:

The following documents must be uploaded as scanned documents while filling in the application form:

- Aadhaar Card (student and parents)

- Domicile Certificate

- Caste Certificate

- Income Certificate

- Marksheet of the qualifying exam previous to the application of the MPTAAS scholarship

- Admission Letter or Fee Receipt

- Transfer Certificate

- Passport-size Photograph

- Student ID (in school or college)

- Bank Passbook or Bank Account details

- Address Proof (Voter ID and residency documents)

How to Verify the Application Status for MPTAAS

Sign into the MPTAAS Portal with your User ID and Password.

Select the option "Track Application Status".

Put in the Application ID and the Academic Year.

The current Status (Processing / Approved / Disbursed) will be displayed in your dashboard.

MPTAAS Renewal Process

Students who are already receiving MPTAAS scholarship can renew their scholarship in the next academic year by logging into the same account and updating their marksheet, fee receipt, and academic proof.
