OUCET 2026 is scheduled for June 25, 2026 across three shifts — students must report at the exam centre at least 90 minutes before their shift’s start time, as the gate closes 30 minutes before the exam begins and late entry is not permitted.

TGCHE schedules OUCET 2026 across three shifts each exam day to accommodate the large number of students appearing across different PG subjects. The table below lists the reporting time, gate closing time, and exam start and end time for each shift.

Your assigned shift is printed on your OUCET 2026 admit card. Cross-check your shift and exam centre address before exam day and plan your travel time accordingly — especially if you are commuting from outside the city.

Reporting Time and Gate Closing Rules

Reaching the exam centre on time is one of the most important steps you can take on exam day. TGCHE strictly enforces gate closing — no student is allowed entry after the gate closes, regardless of the reason cited. Here is what the timing rules mean in practice:

• Reach the exam centre at or before the reporting time shown in the table above for your shift.
• The gate closes 30 minutes before the exam starts. Anyone arriving after gate closing will be denied entry — no exceptions.
• After entering, you will undergo document verification, photograph matching, biometric check (where applicable), and frisking before being seated. Each step takes time, so arriving at or before reporting time is essential.
• Students who miss gate closing will not be allotted an alternative exam date or slot. There is no provision for re-examination due to late arrival.
• Keep your printed admit card and original photo ID in hand before you reach the gate to avoid delays at the entry queue.

Documents to Carry on Exam Day

You must carry the following items to the OUCET 2026 exam centre. Missing any required document can delay your entry or result in you not being allowed to appear for the exam.

Do not carry mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, Bluetooth earphones, or any electronic device inside the hall. These items are strictly barred and possession inside the exam hall can lead to immediate disqualification.

Exam Day Instructions for OUCET 2026

Beyond arriving on time, the following instructions apply on OUCET 2026 exam day:

• Travel the day before if needed — if your exam centre is in another city, travel the previous day to avoid traffic or transport delays on exam morning.
• Read the instructions printed on your admit card the evening before your exam to avoid surprises at the centre.
• Rough work must be done only in the space provided on the question paper or answer sheet — not on any separate sheet of paper.
• OUCET 2026 is a pen-and-paper-based test. You will receive a black or blue ballpoint pen at the centre. Do not carry your own writing instrument unless the admit card specifically allows it.
• The exam is conducted in English and Telugu. Select your medium before you begin filling the OMR sheet and do not switch midway.
• After the exam ends, remain seated until the invigilator collects your OMR answer sheet. Leave the hall only after receiving clearance from the invigilator.
• If your subject paper is scheduled in Shift 2 or Shift 3, use the earlier part of the day to revise lightly — avoid heavy studying immediately before the exam.
