How NPAT 2026 Seat Allotment Works
NPAT seat allotment is merit-based and follows a two-phase counselling process. The merit list considers NPAT scores combined with Class 12 board percentage. Students who receive an offer letter in Phase 1 must pay the admission fee to confirm their seat before the deadline.
- Phase 1 merit list is declared first. Students who accept offers confirm admission by paying the fee online.
- Phase 2 seat matrix shows remaining vacancies at each campus and programme after Phase 1 allotment. The NPAT 2026 Phase 2 seat matrix is expected around June 27, 2026.
- Counselling for Indore, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh campus seats is held at those respective campuses — students need not travel to Mumbai for these seats.
- Students must update their final Class 12 marks in the NMIMS portal as soon as results are declared. Students who fail to do this are not considered for the merit list.
- Maximum age limit is 25 years for all NPAT programmes. No negative marking applies in the NPAT exam itself (120 questions, 100 marks, 100 minutes).
