Original Documents Required for Karnataka DCET 2026 Counselling

1. DCET 2026 Rank Card — printed from the KEA official portal after result declaration.
2. Seat Allotment Letter — printed copy of the round-wise seat allotment issued by KEA; report on the date and at the venue mentioned in it.
3. DCET 2026 Admit Card — the hall ticket used during the entrance exam as issued by KEA.
4. SSLC / 10th Marks Card and Certificate — proof of date of birth and basic academic eligibility for BE/BTech lateral entry.
5. Diploma All Semester Marks Cards — complete set from first to final semester, issued by the Board of Technical Examinations Karnataka (BTEK) or an equivalent board.
6. Diploma Provisional / Passing Certificate — issued by your polytechnic or the Board of Technical Examinations.
7. Study Certificate (Class 1–10) — establishes Karnataka domicile eligibility; must be signed by the principal of your Class 10 school in Karnataka and is required to claim any government quota seat.
8. Transfer Certificate (TC) — from the last institution you attended before DCET 2026 counselling.
9. Caste / Category Certificate — issued by a Tahsildar or competent Karnataka government authority; mandatory for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and Category-I students.
10. Income Certificate — for fee waiver and category eligibility; issued by a Tahsildar, valid for the current financial year.
11. Domicile / Residence Certificate — proof of Karnataka residency required for government seat eligibility.
12. Aadhaar Card — for identity and biometric verification at the reporting centre.
13. PH Certificate — if claiming Persons with Disability quota; must state disability percentage (minimum 40%) and be issued by a Government Medical Board.
14. Minority Certificate — only if claiming a seat under a minority institution quota.

Photocopies Required

Students who fail to produce mandatory documents on the reporting date will have their seat cancelled by KEA. No grace period or second reporting chance is offered for missing documents.
