5th June 2018, Hyderabad: School of Science of GITAM deemed to be University, Hyderabad is introducing B.Sc. (Computer Animation & Visual Effects) program from the 2018-19 academic year. It is also offering B.Sc. programs with Chemistry (Hons), Physics and Statistics as one of the core subjects, and Mathematics & Computer Science as common subjects and M.Sc. (Chemistry-Pharmaceutical) programs. Prof. G.A. Rama Rao, Principal informed in a press release on June 4, 2018.

Admissions are open for the above-mentioned programs. Candidates with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in group (optional) subjects in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply. BZC (Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry) students also can apply for B.Sc. programs. The last date for receipt of filled-in-applications is June 25, 2018, and the class will commence from July 02, 2018.
