TMU Moradabad Fees: Courses, Hostel and Scholarships

Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, lists BTech CSE tuition at ₹61,200 per semester. Eight semesters at that rate give an estimated ₹4,89,600 in tuition, before examinations, hostel and other charges. Regular MBA tuition is ₹70,200 per semester, BCA ₹30,600 and BPharm ₹72,000 in the available course leaflet.

TMU's 2026–27 scholarship scheme distinguishes Jain-category concessions from non-Jain entry scholarships. Eligible Jain students receive programme-specific support for the course duration, while many non-Jain merit awards apply in the admission year only. A tuition waiver should therefore be calculated using both the course and the award period.

TMU Engineering and Computing Fees

BTech Tuition and Examination Charges

CSE and the listed CSE specialisations use the ₹61,200 semester tuition rate. Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Civil and Electrical Engineering are ₹40,500 per semester. The examination charge in the engineering leaflet is ₹4,500 per semester, additional to tuition.

For regular CSE, two semesters of tuition and examinations total ₹1,31,400: ₹61,200 × 2 + ₹4,500 × 2. For the ₹40,500 engineering group, the equivalent amount is ₹90,000. These calculations exclude joining payments, accommodation and collaborative-programme charges.

Full-Course Estimates and Collaborative Fees

At an unchanged rate, four years of CSE tuition are ₹4,89,600. Adding eight semester examination payments of ₹4,500 gives an estimated ₹5,25,600 for tuition and examinations. The corresponding four-year combination for a ₹40,500-per-semester branch is ₹3.60 lakh. These are calculated estimates, not guaranteed future fee totals.

The IBM module has a separate ₹25,370 per semester charge in the leaflet. A student selecting that collaborative option must include it in addition to the applicable university tuition and examination amount. The Jain scholarship terms also specify that the partner's additional fee is outside the tuition concession.

BCA, MCA and MTech

BCA tuition is ₹30,600 per semester and its examination charge is ₹4,000. Two semesters of these components total ₹69,200. The honours structure includes a possible three-year undergraduate exit and a four-year honours option, so the full amount depends on the degree duration completed.

MCA tuition and examination charges are ₹43,200 and ₹4,500 per semester. Four semesters would total an estimated ₹1,90,800 for those components. MTech CSE uses ₹45,000 tuition and ₹4,500 examinations, giving ₹1.98 lakh over four semesters at unchanged rates.

TMU MBA and Commerce Fees

Regular MBA and Corporate MBA

Regular MBA and MBA Hospital Management are ₹70,200 per semester. The Corporate MBA with Global Exposure is ₹94,500. The regular MBA examination charge is ₹4,500 per semester in the leaflet.

The Corporate MBA tuition is ₹24,300 higher per semester, or ₹97,200 across four semesters at the stated rate. For regular MBA, tuition plus four examination payments totals an estimated ₹2,98,800. Any programme-specific travel or additional payment should follow the actual offer for the selected option.

Undergraduate Management and Commerce

The BBA rate shown in the leaflet is ₹30,600 per semester with a ₹4,000 examination charge. The listed BCom honours option is ₹29,700 tuition with ₹4,500 examinations. Both combinations are ₹34,600 and ₹34,200 respectively per semester before other charges.

Their honours or honours-with-research structure affects the number of semesters. A student leaving after the permitted three-year undergraduate stage should use six semesters; continuing to the four-year qualification adds the applicable fourth-year payments. Specialised or partner-linked options should use their own fee entry.

Pharmacy, Nursing and Physiotherapy Fees

Pharmacy Tuition

Pharmacy fees vary by degree and entry level. BPharm lateral entry has a lower semester tuition than regular BPharm in the leaflet. PharmD and PharmD Post Baccalaureate also have different rates and durations.

BPharm examinations are ₹5,500 per semester. Two semesters of regular BPharm tuition and examinations therefore total ₹1.55 lakh. MPharm examinations are also ₹5,500 per semester, giving ₹1,71,200 for two semesters with tuition. The MPharm leaflet mentions a ₹5,000 monthly stipend under the programme's conditions; students should obtain its terms with their admission offer.

Nursing and Allied Health Payments

BSc Nursing tuition is ₹70,200 per semester, with a ₹6,300 semester examination charge. Post Basic BSc Nursing tuition is ₹24,300 per semester and its examination charge is ₹6,000 per year. MSc Nursing is ₹75,600 tuition per semester with ₹9,000 examinations per year in the leaflet.

BPT tuition is ₹55,800 per semester and examinations ₹4,500. The two-semester combination is ₹1,20,600. MPT tuition is ₹43,200 per semester with ₹5,000 examinations, or ₹96,400 for two semesters. Internship duration and any associated payments should follow the programme's specific conditions.

Law, Agriculture, Humanities and Education Fees

Integrated BA LLB, BBA LLB and BCom LLB honours tuition is ₹27,000 per semester. Examinations are ₹4,500 per semester. Ten semesters at these rates give an estimated ₹3.15 lakh for tuition and examinations together. The one-year LLM uses ₹45,000 tuition plus ₹4,500 examinations per semester.

Agriculture has a four-year undergraduate and two-year postgraduate option. The lower-fee arts and education programmes still have examination charges, which form a larger share of their total semester payment. For example, BA tuition and examinations together are ₹19,800 per semester at these rates.

TMU Hostel Fees and Jain Lodging Concessions

Hostel payments are separate from tuition and examination charges. Room type and availability determine the residential payment. The university's Jain scholarship scheme gives a 30% concession on lodging for common-bathroom accommodation and 15% for attached-bathroom accommodation, under the applicable category conditions.

The concession is on lodging only. It should not be applied to mess or the entire residential bill unless the university's award specifically includes those components. A student with an approved lodging concession should receive a payment statement showing the room charge, the concession and the remaining residential payments.

Jain-category support is subject to committee verification. The scheme states that scholarship credits are made in the even semester. Students should therefore use the actual payment demand for the first instalment and check when the approved credit is applied.

TMU Scholarships for Jain Students

Tuition Waivers by Programme

For students admitted in 2026–27, eligible Jain students receive a 50% tuition waiver in Engineering, Computing Sciences and IT, Management, Physical Education, Fine Arts, Education, Law and Legal Studies, and Hospital Administration. The scheme states that this support applies for the duration of the admitted programme.

Nursing, Paramedical including Forensic Science, MSc Medical, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Agriculture and DElEd have a 20% tuition waiver. The BDS entry lists ₹10,000 support under its own condition. The university verifies the claim before granting the benefit.

For illustration, 50% off ₹61,200 CSE semester tuition leaves ₹30,600 in tuition. The ₹4,500 examination charge remains separate, making ₹35,100 for those two components. A 20% BPharm tuition concession would reduce ₹72,000 by ₹14,400, leaving ₹57,600 before examinations and other payments.

Collaborative Programmes and Multiple Awards

The scholarship applies to university tuition in collaborative programmes, but not to additional fees shared with the partner. TMU also states that multiple scholarships are not available together. Students should obtain the approved category and amount instead of combining a Jain waiver with a separate entry or sports award.

TMU Scholarships for Non-Jain Students

Entry Merit and Entrance-Score Awards

For eligible diploma, UG, PG and collaborative programmes, the admission-year merit bands are 10% at 60–69.9%, 15% at 70–79.9%, 25% at 80–89.9%, and 50% at 90% or above. The scheme excludes the named medical, dental, allied and DElEd categories and programmes of one year or less from this general provision.

BPharm, DPharm and PharmD have separate marks bands: 10% at 70–79.9% and 15% at 80% or above. The general 50% top band should therefore not be applied automatically to these pharmacy courses. The scholarship page also lists CUET-based awards for eligible programmes.

MBA entrance-score scholarship bands are 20% for the stated 90–95 score band, 40% for 96–97 and 100% for 98 or above in CAT, MAT or CMAT under the university's scheme. The accepted score type and examination record must be checked for the actual award.

Progression, Staff and Sports Support

Existing TMU polytechnic students entering BTech can receive a 20% tuition concession for the remaining programme duration, subject to the scheme. Staff wards have a separate concession, with different treatment for Nursing and Physiotherapy. Wards of visually impaired TMU employees are listed for 50% annual support for the course duration.

Sports awards depend on the level of achievement and recognised competition. Some top categories receive support for the full course, while other awards apply in the admission year. Students must submit the appropriate sports certificates and check the award period on the TMU scholarship page.
