MSU Result 2026: Date-Wise UG, PG, Department and Revaluation Result Links

MSU Result 2026 is out for the April 2026 UG, PG and department exams. Manonmaniam Sundaranar University released the UG result on June 22, 2026. The PG and University Department results came earlier, on June 13, 2026.

Revaluation results followed on July 11 and July 13, 2026. The Ph.D. course work and vocational diploma results came last, on October 14, 2026. November 2025 UG and PG results came on January 12, 2026.

Students check every result on results.msuniv.com with the registration number. No password or date of birth is needed. Fee payment for the November 2026 exams is now open. Those results are expected from late December 2026.

The UG and PG college results do not cover MBA and M.A. Human Resource Development. The university publishes these two courses separately.

MSU Result 2026 Portal by Program Type

MSU runs separate result pages for each group of students. A wrong page is the usual reason a result does not load.

Each exam session has its own page. The April 2026 page sits at results.msuniv.com/apr26_results. The November 2025 page sits at results.msuniv.com/nov25_results.

How to Check MSU Result 2026

The result can be checked from any phone or computer. Only the registration number printed on the hall ticket is needed.

1. Open the university website msuniv.ac.in and go to Examinations, then Result.
2. Pick the exam session, such as April 2026 or November 2025.
3. Select the student group: UG, PG, University Department, diploma or Ph.D.
4. Enter the registration number and submit it.
5. The mark details appear on screen. Save a PDF or take a printout for college use.

Example: A B.Com student at a Tirunelveli college opens the April 2026 section. The student then picks Affiliated College UG Result and enters the registration number.

Why an MSU Result May Not Show

• Wrong group: a PG number on the UG page shows nothing.
• Wrong session: an April 2026 arrear paper shows only in the April 2026 section.
• Excluded course: MBA and M.A. HRD marks are not on the UG and PG college pages.
• Pending dues or attendance issues: students report that results can be held back. The college office clears these with the university.

MSU Passing Marks and CGPA Calculation

MSU follows the Choice Based Credit System for all programmes. Each theory paper carries 25 marks for Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA). The rest comes from the university exam.

The pass rules come from the MSU Common Regulations for all programmes.

There is no separate pass mark for CIA. So a student must clear the university exam on its own. A strong internal score cannot cover a weak exam paper.

How CGPA Is Worked Out

Each paper's total marks are multiplied by its credits. These weighted marks are added. The total is then divided by the total credits.

Example: Paper 1 has 4 credits and 72 marks. Paper 2 has 4 credits and 65 marks. Paper 3 has 3 credits and 58 marks. The weighted total is 288 plus 260 plus 174, or 722. Dividing 722 by 11 credits gives about 65.6.

How to Apply for Revaluation and Scrutiny After the Result

MSU offers two forms after every result. Form A is for getting a copy of the evaluated answer script. Form B is the request for revaluation of the paper.

The university fee structure lists Rs. 350 for Form A and Rs. 250 for Form B. Students apply and pay online through the link on the result page.

Revaluation Windows for the April 2026 Exams

Each window opened only after the matching result came out. All of these windows have now closed.

Deadline: Most windows stayed open for only four to six days. The portal stops taking forms once it closes.

The steps are the same for each group:

1. Open the Form A or Form B link on the session result page.
2. Enter the registration number and select the papers.
3. Pay the fee online and keep the payment receipt.
4. Check the revaluation result on the same portal once it is released.

Revaluation results came three to seven weeks after the main result. In 2026, the November 2025 revaluation results came on March 3. The April 2026 ones came on July 11 and 13.
