How SGPA Is Calculated?
SGPA is the credit-weighted average of grade points in one semester. Each subject's credits are multiplied by its grade point. The total is then divided by the total credits.
Example: A student has three subjects of 4 credits each. The grades are A+, B+ and B. The grade points are 9, 7 and 6. The total is 88 points over 12 credits, so the SGPA is 7.33.
CGPA is the same average taken across all semesters completed so far.
Important: Scholarship holders must keep a minimum CGPA of 6.0 to continue the scholarship.
