JPU Result 2026 Portal by Program Type

JPU does not use one portal for every result. The right portal depends on the course and batch.

Program Type Result Portal Login Details
UG-CBCS semester results, recent batches jpv.bihar-ums.com/result Registration Number and date of birth
UG Semester II (2023-27), certificate courses, Ph.D. coursework jpv.ac.in/exam-results Roll Number
PG-CBCS results jpv.ac.in, as announced by the Examination Department Roll Number

Note: Admission merit lists run on the separate Samarth portal. That portal does not show semester exam results.

What the JPU Online Result Shows?

The online result shows marks for each paper and the final result. The UG Semester II page also offers a paper-wise result view.

JPU calls every online result provisional. Marks shown online can still change. The university sends original mark sheets to colleges and departments. Only that original mark sheet counts for jobs and admissions.

JPU Result 2026 Problems and Fixes

Most login and result problems come from a few common mistakes. The table matches each problem to its fix.

Problem Likely Cause What to Do
Login fails on UMS portal Date of birth in wrong format Type it as ddmmyyyy without slashes
Result shows "Not Found" Wrong portal for the batch Try the other portal listed above
Exam missing from the list Result not yet declared Check again after the exam notice updates
Wrong name or marks on result Data entry error Apply for correction at the college

The UMS technical help desk is on 08069261300. It works from 10 AM to 6 PM. The lunch break runs from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM.

Important: A result seen before the exam is held is not valid. In July 2026, some UG Semester III (2024-28) results appeared early on DigiLocker. The Controller of Examinations called it a technical error and removed them.

How to Get a JPU Mark Sheet Corrected?

Students with an error in the mark sheet apply through their own college or department. The college sends the case to the university. Students cannot collect a corrected mark sheet directly from the university.

JPU publishes lists of corrected mark sheets on its Marksheet Correction page. The latest list is dated October 14, 2026. It covers TDC Part I to III and PG Semester I to IV. Students whose names appear collect the corrected sheet from their college.
