JSPM University Admission Process
Certain eligibility criteria are fixed by the authorities; however, admission to JSPM University Pune is based on merit.
- Admission to the university is determined based on marks or grades scored by the student and other achievements in academics or extracurricular activities. The admission to professional and technical courses is made based on the entrance examination, such as MHT-CET/MAH-MBA-CET/JEE/PERA.
- Students will be selected as per the norms released by the government.
- Excluding those not covered in the above, students have to undergo university entrance exams that include an online component and studio tests (for design studies) on campus.
- 40% of seats will be reserved for students having a state domicile of Maharashtra.

PhD Admission Process
Students who qualify for scholarships and fellowships in UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/GATE/CEED and similar national-level tests are exempted from the entrance examination; however, they have to appear for an interview.
- Students must register on the JSPM University portal using a valid email and mobile number.
- Students must fill out the online application form specifying his/her domain of research. Upload their photograph and signature and submit it by paying INR 1000, a payment of the research programme entrance test fees.
- JSPM University conducts a research program entrance examination to evaluate the candidates' subject knowledge, research aptitude, and analytical abilities. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions.
