As said the university of California is one of the best universities in the world it also provides world level education and the faculty is very eco friendly with the students. It added a lot of value firstly you get to know people around the globe and all the people who you meet have different culture which help you to reconcile excellence in academics. The student ratio is great the girls somehow in some courses surpasses the boys. Faculty students ratio is 19:1.

Fees

I have paid the fees online which was soo because i have to pay fees from india dur to COVID lockdown. The other acedemic expenses here are quite high, like student health insurance cost $5672 and BIO service fee id $112 And many more small expenses.

Course curriculum is great and does not only focus on the major but you learn about quite a few things. The breadth requirements encourage you to learn from outside your area of study and potentially find new passions. Also each course teaches skills that are not only applicable to the field but to multiple discplines.

UC Berkeley is ranked extremely highly. They have a great engineering program as well as Nuclear Engineering. The location was amazing in terms of weather as well as prospective internships in silicon valley. It also had many great programs so that I could take more classes, and as such I am minoring in Environmental Policy and Economics. Academics can be challenging as you are surrounded by some of the brightest people. However, studying hard as well as rounding yourself off as a person can be very easy if you put your mind to it. The university offers every chance possible to do so

The academics are really good the professors are extremely smart and talented. It's a bit hard to develop a relationship with professors and get help with enrollment issues and other issues because of the large number of students in the school.

The classes especially the economics classes are very big and it can be very hard to get attention or understand concepts! Most of the actual teaching is done by my graduate students and some of them are really not good at teaching. I would recommend just trying to go to as many office hours as possible. The course syllabus is extremely updated and relevant Berkeley tries to include some coding language in a lot of classes. I also do feel like the GPA system is a great way to learn continuously.

For my major I would say that we focus a lot on historical theatre and later in the year we shifted more towards a broad modern scheme of theatre and I really like what we are learning now because of the broad spectrum.

Fees

The fees are very open and a lot of aid is provided, they also price match the books so if at any campus the price is lower they match it.

I think there is a lot of room for improvement because it seems at times that it wants students to fail. Students are basically salmon pushing against the current trying to make it, while the school is doing everything to challenge us and weed us out.

Fees

Usually, Labs have like a $10-30 fee for any broken glassware during the class. Obviously Tuition. And you are required to spend a week in advance at the school before classes in order to attend something known as GBO (Golden Bear Orientation) which I honestly a bit drew out.

In my honest opinion, I would say that the course curriculum was honestly pretty good. Additionally, the course curriculum is very well structured and organized, which realistically allows students to be able to appreciate it.

Fees

I would have to say that they were always upfront about the fees. I don't really remember what my fees were, but they were lower than other colleges.

Usually good for most classes in math, computer science, and economics and other subjects like Native American studies and sociology. It can be boring for classes in geography, sociology, nutrition, and astronomy.

Fees

There are tuition and fees for late charges like dropping or adding classes after the deadline. The gym membership is included in the tuition. There are not really any other fees.

I found the course curriculum to be challenging and rewarding. Although some of the freshman/sophomore courses seem tedious, especially as a transfer, I found the one I was required to take extremely rewarding due to the Graduate Student Instructor. Definitely ask around and look up your professors/GSI/, it makes the bigger differences in the world.

Fees

While there are a lot of different fees, I had a full tuition/fees scholarship so I'm not too familiar with them. If your money doesn't release when everyone else's is, you need to wait in the huge financial aid line to get the process started for them to trigger it manually. I had that experience. The line is managed well though, they set you up with text alerts so you can leave and come back in time.
