  • Degree Requirement:
    • A bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited institution.
    • GPA Requirement: Minimum GPA of 3.0 (B) on a 4.0 scale. The average GPA for entering students is 3.63.
    • Students from all educational fields are eligible.
    • Non-technical applicants must demonstrate the ability to handle technical coursework.
  • Undergraduate Training: Sufficient undergraduate training to undertake graduate work in bioengineering.
  • Duplicate Degrees: Applicants with a master's degree in bioengineering (or similar field) must justify why they want to pursue this additional degree.
  • Program Capacity: Meeting the minimum standards does not guarantee admission, as competition is high.

English Language Requirement
