- The interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Management at UAlbany will give students a broad understanding of the relationships between government legislation, public policy, economics, politics, civil rights, regulation and finance, and city, state, federal, and global affairs.
- The program includes foundational coursework and electives in management and politics, and quantitative methods and policy. Then students get to earn a concentration in the area of study that best matches their personal interests and career goals.
- The program deepens students understanding of major civic issues and explores different ways they can help solve social problems by developing creative public policy solutions and improving management.
- The student will be familiar with the predominant political, economic, and social actors that actively engage in the policymaking process, including expert communities, interest groups, the media, agency bureaucrats, and elected officials.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a minimum of 120 credits and at least 90 credits in the liberal arts and sciences
- Students must achieve and maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
- The students should have completed the General Education Program at the University at Albany
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Students should submit required official and complete individual mark skeets for each examination attempt, including subsidiary exams.
- Photocopies of student's mark sheets are accepted only when they are attested by the University Registrar or Controller of Examinations and placed in a sealed, stamped envelope that is sent directly to the Graduate School.
