- The bachelor's in the theatre program allows students to learn how to work collaboratively with other creative minds to solve problems and communicate on the stage and behind the scenes.
- Develop a core set of skills to become highly proficient in theory, knowledge, and practice while learning self-discipline and work ethic
- Students will gain the skills and education needed to succeed on and off the stage with a hybrid learning experience that combines traditional courses with production work.
- This major provides students with foundational knowledge about theatre while teaching interdependent studies such as acting, design, direction, technology, management, history, theory, criticism, and dramatic literature.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a minimum of 120 credits and at least 90 credits in the liberal arts and sciences
- Students must achieve and maintain at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA.
- The students should have completed the General Education Program at the University at Albany
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Students should submit required official and complete individual mark skeets for each examination attempt, including subsidiary exams.
- Photocopies of student's mark sheets are accepted only when they are attested by the University Registrar or Controller of Examinations and placed in a sealed, stamped envelope that is sent directly to the Graduate School.
