Course Curriculum
My course syllabus was typically accurate and did not deviate from our in class learning, most of my courses were in economics and some statistics and did not provide any industry or research exposure
At the time when I was a psychology major, the university of Illinois had an amazing post graduate program for masters in psychology that would benefit my long term career goals as well as being close to home and a reputable big ten university in the Midwest of the United States
Economics shares common interests with business-oriented disciplines such as finance and business administration. Economists frequently require quantitative skills, such as calculus and statistics, to derive economic principles that are useful in forming policies designed to solve economic problems.
Minimum required major and supporting course work normally equates to 55-56 hours including a minimum of 30 hours of economics courses.
