Good weather, average tuition fees, best college for my course in the USA. My overall experience at FSU has been great for these past 2 semesters with a lot of information imbibed.
Likes:
- I was meeting the criteria that was set. The university was offering just the course I needed. The weather and the campus is great. University has got a good name. I had a good resume and sop, that got me into this university. null
- Florida State University at Tallahassee is one of the top 20 public state University in USA. It has got a very beautiful and huge campus with all the amenities you can imagine, like, couple of big gyms, stadiums for every other sport, health and wellness center, gaming and cinema. null
- Here the professors are of a very high profile, many of them are always doing some research. The pedigree of the college is just as important as the degree, so choosing and getting into this university is a win. There are many departments to enroll into, so you study what you really want. null
- There is lakefront park that we can access anyday for free and it has got many activities we can do like kayaking, speed boat, wall climbing, rope walking other, just lookup for FSU Rez in Google. We can use FSU I'd to get free access to the buses in Tallahassee, which come in handy financially. null
- Here, the weather is really comfortable most of the days and hardly snows, so, if you don't wanna clean your front yard daily because of snow, this is the place. Places like Miami, Orlando(Disney World) and other are not too far. FSU's football matches are not to be missed, the vibe of it is beyond what we can imagine. Other than this, FSU also provides services like mental health consulting for free so that you are never depressed. FSU is also know for it's party culture, as much as you can study here you can also enjoy being at FSU. null
Dislikes:
- I do not dislike anything particularly. The university is huge so you may have to walk a lot but that won't bother you it's just that beautiful. You can use electric scooters, bikes to travel in and around campus. null
Having a good campus, experienced teachers and amenities for you helped me a lot in terms of personal growth and professional development.
Likes:
- As it is a State university and Part-time are easily available, Course Curriculum is great, Cost of Living is less compared to other places. null
- The Course Curriculum is very good, finding Part-Time Job opportunities is easy, and the Cost of Living is less we can't find a 4*2 apartment for 400 dollars. null
- Transport facilities are provided by universities compared to other places. Assistantships and scholarships are available. If we get a scholarship 90 % of the fee is waived. null
Dislikes:
- Some Core Subjects are Tough we need to keep a lot of effort into them. There is no Flexibility in doing courses online. null
- University does not allow Day 1 CPT. Less Indian Community compared to other universities. Need to relocate for finding Technical jobs. null
The university is great and the climate in Florida is almost equivalence to the climate in India.
The school is very cost-effective, and they accepted the credits I already earned. The World War 2 institute at FSU is one of the largest and most interesting collections held on any campus, and given the actual ties the city has to this era, it provides a greater environment for learning about the subject matter.
Florida state university has an amazing business school. I am double majoring in management and sales and I believe I have learned so much through Florida states business school. The majority of students graduating from the business school also have countless job offers.
Location, scholarship, research, and everyone was very nice when I visited. I felt at home, and the campus was beautiful. I also wanted to go to a large school. I wanted to participate in Greek life, which is very large at FSU.
I am a legacy here and it offers a fantastic psychology and hospitality program which helps me to truly learn and study what I would like to do with my life. FSU has given me opportunity after opportunity to grow and change and ready myself for my future.
Good programs, staff, and it was the college that would take me. I am homeless and wanted to give my kids the best future I could. The professors are great and they do what they can to help you and very flexible scheduling.
Great Community and International Affairs program. The community at Florida State is unlike any other. The people are so friendly and there are so many great clubs and organizations you can join to meet new people. I also love the International Affairs major they offer.
