The M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences at the University of Notre Dame offers a dynamic, research-driven program focused on addressing critical global challenges. Students engage in interdisciplinary research across four key areas: Environmental Engineering, Environmental Fluid Dynamics, Environmental Geosciences, and Structural Engineering. Supported by state-of-the-art laboratories and computing facilities, the program fosters innovation and collaboration within a multidisciplinary academic environment. Open to students with a minimum GPA of 3.5, the 1-year, full-time program begins in either the fall or spring semester and requires the completion of 30 credit hours. Applicants must submit academic transcripts, GRE/GMAT scores, a statement of purpose, résumé, three letters of recommendation, and a $50 application fee. English language proficiency is required for international applicants. University of Notre Dame accepts almost all English proficiency exams, such as IELTS,TOEFL, PTE and DET for international students admission.
