  • Facilities : College has biggest library in the center of University which could accommodate lakhs of students at a time.

  • There is the gym Facility (one of the highest equipped Gym in LA with in-built racing track on the top of gym building)

  • There are various students clubs once can enroll in any on the orientation day itself (such as research club, math clubs, sports teams, food pantry clubs )

  • I followed Facebook pages and googled apartments near college then try to contact the person who lives near by or talking to senior students helps a lot .

  • Monthly rents depends on the type of amenities once choice to live : Studio apartments are 1500 per month excluding amenities , for 1 bedroom range is between 1800 to 2200.

  • Recommendation is try to find near to college and for a while accommodate more number of friends in single apartment if you want that to make budget friendly.

Campus is filled up with commuting students from Monday to Thursdays 9.00 to 17.00. Other than that everything is quite lonely except for the game nights and event days, which is full of students. Outdoor trekking, bicycling, sport events are excellent things to make good friends and hangout with others.

I have rented a apartment outside, walkable to campus. 3 people sharing 1 BHK $2,250 rent, around $800 groceries and other living expenses.

I live at home to save money. I also typically bring food to school. On-campus living is VERY pricy and off campus is a little less but still too much for living in the suburbs. I would like to move closer to campus but am dreading paying for it.

This was the closest state school to me which made it appealing because I could save money and also attend a decent school. They had the major I wanted which made sense to me. I also liked the idea of a big school but a small program. The school has 40,000 people but my program I see the same faces in most classes.

I did the dorms in my freshman year. I liked it but I also like being off campus more since it is a bit cheaper than living on campus. I also liked the vibe of being on campus but it was a bit pricy for me and I was working a lot so I couldn't enjoy the dorm experience.

I currently go to CSUN as a CTVA (Film/Television) Student and I love the opportunities I get to have as a CSUN CTVA student. Compared to many film schools in SoCal. CSUN is very affordable and many of my professors do work within the Film/TV industry in Los Angeles.

The program offered was the best fit for my individual needs. I liked the campus and the environment as well as the faculty and their areas of research. Lastly, the program gave me internships that would allow me to be able to gain experience as well as potentially get a job right out of college.
