- Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering at the University of California Los Angeles is a 4-year program.
- It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
- This program builds on the foundation of materials science and is concerned with the design, fabrication, and optimal selection of engineering materials that must simultaneously fulfill dimensional, property, quality control, and economic requirements.
- It is designed for students who desire a broad understanding of the relationship between microstructure and properties of materials.
- There are two areas of specialization for undergraduate students in Materials Science and Engineering. Both offer Bachelor of Science degrees.
