Economics deals with many current issues facing our society, such as energy, inflation, unemployment, pollution, urban decay, as well as foreign trade and government budget deficits.

An Economics education exposes students to economic theories with the opportunity to study the economics of health, the economics of the environment, labor economics, urban and regional economics, and many other areas of public policy.

The Rowan Economics program offers students the opportunity to work with faculty on research and public policy. Rowan’s Economics Program offers internships and a unique ability to specialization in public policy in depth.
