• There are only a handful of universities that offer programs starting in spring which is what I was looking for. With that experience and criteria, I was able to shortlist 3 universities – University of Illinois Chicago, University of Connecticut and Michigan State University. After this it was another easy choice because MSU offered a 12-month program while the other programs lasted for at least 18 months. Also given the fact that Michigan has way smaller number of Indians than the other states it gave me an opportunity to get better exposure while interacting with people from other countries. I really knew what I had to do, and I chose MSU. null
• The best part about MSU is that there is much more diversity than other schools. Especially if you are an Indian looking for exposure, this is a good place to be. Over the last couple of years, the influx of grad students has grown exponentially that almost all the big states are flooded with Indians. MSU offers a much diverse population among students and staff, which is great to gain exposure and push your limits. null
