What Students Say
Likes
- Campus life and estra curricular activity
Dislikes
- Lack of courses and faculty
Course Curriculum
6
- The course curriculum is good. The syllabus covers relevant topics but could include more recent industry trends. We get limited industrial or research exposure. Usually, there are 2–3 classes a day, and the average class size is around 20–25 students. so we need more industrial exposure.
Admission Experience
- I chose this university because at that time they showed different organic agriculture courses but when i came here, they had nothing in organic agriculture and horticulture.
- Any english proficiency test, for my course gpa should be more than 3.
Faculty
4
- The faculty at Arkansas State University are knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to help students. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:20.
- Any of them support research ideas and field-based learning. Dr Schulte has especially left a great impact through her mentorship and guidance in agricultural studies.
Campus Life
8
- The Student Union serves as a central hub on campus for student activities, services, study lounges and social gatherings. They have dining for students and different cafeterias.
Part Time Jobs
- There are a lot of part-time opportunities on campus for both bachelor's and graduate students like G, field jobs, lab jobs, clerical jobs and some jobs in dining services also.
Placement
2
- it is very difficult to get a job now these days due to Trump’s new policies.
Accommodation
Off Campus
8
- I found my accommodation through online platforms and student groups on social media. The monthly rent is around $600, which includes basic furniture, internet, water, and laundry facilities. The place is safe, comfortable, and close to campus, making it convenient for daily classes and study routines.
Exams
- Any IELTS, TOEFL, GMAT, GRE, PTE, or SAT.
- Statement of Purpose, LOR, CV, Transcript, MMR.
Fees
- 8549$ per semester
