Required Exams for Admission
Course Curriculum
- 1 required courses is not up to date apart from that all courses are great.
- MEng project provides some exposure.
- Depends on number of credits you take, for every credit you take 1 hr of class you attend in a week.
- Number of students also vary between 60 - 90.
Admission Experience
- Flexibility of the course choices, close proximity to the Jhonson MBA program and Alumni Network.
- My scores: GRE: 308, TOEFL: 103; Required: No GRE, TOEFL: 100 .
Faculty
- Faculty are pioneers in their field and highly approachable, to name a few I took classes with are Patrick Reed, Jamie Hintlian, Emaad Manzoor, Robert Newman, Dirk Swart, Tim Fraser, Sachin Gupta.
Campus Life
- Campus life is amazing, facilities are available to play almost any sport, libraries are have spaces that create an environment for you to focus with a nice view outside, semiconductor research facilities are particularly well equipped.
Part Time Jobs
- Hourly pay is between 15-23. Workday is used to apply for part time roles. Students are allowed to work 20hrs per week.
- There are a lot of on campus opportunities in Ithaca. MEng program does not allow full time TA or RA.
Placement
- 85% of students find a job within 6 months of program completion.
- Avarrage salary ranges between 60k - 120k.
- Proven methods are cold applications and networking.
Accommodation
- Found my accommodation via a local property manager found on Google. Monthly rent is $900.
Exams
- Exams: TOEFL.
- Documents: Statement of Purpose, LoR, CV, Technical Writing documentation.
Fees
- Fee was upto $70,000 .
