Since it is a PhD program you get to choose the courses (other than the basic stuff that is mandatory) and this helps you to study courses that is relevant to your research.
It is a lot (since it is private institute and I don't know the exact figure) but since it is a phd program, it is all covered.
It's great, depending on your major it changes but we also distributive requirements to finish. Those include a philosophy course, a foreign language, math-based course, science-based course, two writing courses, a technology course, and western and non-western based courses.
Tuition is pretty steep - the total cost for the school is $75k for the upcoming year. That includes tuition, student fees, health insurance, room and board, dining plan, books, and transportation.
I love that Dartmouth is a liberal arts college - it allows you to take classes in any department you like as long as you fulfill the prereqs and can fit it into your course schedule for graduation. It was great for me.
I got great financial aid, but tuition, like any normal private university in the US, is quite high. I believe that if your parents make below 100k, you do not get any loans included in your financial aid package - they are replaced by grants.
I had a excellent experience with the program and got beyond my expectations from the college. I got to learn some key business and tech skills which are extremely valuable in today's job market. To top that, the faculty and the students cohort make it a wholesome learning experience. The program has so much to offer in just 15 months.
$20k/ term, total 4 terms and 1 summer term for which we pay about $3k
