Ques. Can I get admission to the MBA Digital Marketing programme at Joy University without a CAT score?
Ans. Yes, you can. Joy University accepts multiple entrance exam scores for MBA admission, including CAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, CMAT, and MAT. Additionally, the university conducts its own entrance test called JOYAT (Joy University Scholastic Aptitude Test), which is the primary route for most students applying directly to Joy University. A valid JOYAT score along with a personal interaction round is sufficient for admission. However, having a strong CAT or NMAT score can also make you eligible for significant merit-based scholarships.
Ques. What scholarships are available specifically for MBA students at Joy University, and how much can I save?
Ans. Joy University offers substantial merit-based scholarships for MBA students. If you have a CAT/XAT score of 90 percentile or above, you can get a 50% waiver on tuition fees throughout the programme, saving Rs. 1,70,000 over 2 years (on the Digital Marketing variant). NMAT scores of 240 and above also fetch a 50% waiver. For women candidates, a 15% waiver is available with a CAT/XAT score of 70 percentile or above. Category-based waivers are also available for SC/ST (10%), Differently Abled (60%), and sports achievers (up to 100%). Only one scholarship can be availed per student.
Ques. What is the JOYAT exam, and how should I prepare for it?
Ans. JOYAT (Joy University Scholastic Aptitude Test) is Joy University's own entrance examination used for admissions across all its programmes. For MBA admissions, the JOYAT tests aptitude, reasoning, and general management awareness. The exam is conducted at the university campus and is followed by a personal interaction round. Students scoring 25 or above in JOYAT are eligible for a 10% tuition fee waiver. Since Joy University also accepts national exam scores (CAT, XAT, NMAT, etc.), students who have already appeared for these exams can use those scores directly and may not need to appear for JOYAT separately.
