Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University Ph.D Management: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. The PhD in Management at MAHGU is a 3-year full-time programme. Research scholars complete coursework in the first year and submit their doctoral thesis before the end of the third year. Extensions may be granted subject to university regulations and doctoral committee approval. The degree is awarded after successful thesis defence.

Ans. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 55 percent aggregate marks. SC/ST and PwD candidates are eligible at 50 percent as per UGC norms. UGC NET or JRF qualification is an added advantage during selection.

Ans. The annual programme fee for the PhD in Management is INR 90,000, making the total fee INR 2,70,000 for the 3-year programme, as per the MAHGU fee structure for 2025-26. Ans. MAHGU conducts a written entrance test followed by a personal interview for PhD Management admission.
