Ans. The total programme fee is INR 48,000 for the two-year M.Sc Chemistry programme, payable at INR 24,000 per year. Uttarakhand domicile students receive a 31 percent fee concession as per university norms. Hostel and mess charges are billed separately and are not included in the programme fee.

Ans. Candidates must hold a B.Sc degree with Chemistry as a subject from a recognised university with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks. A valid CUET-PG score is accepted for merit-based shortlisting, or students may apply under direct merit-based admission as notified by MAHGU.

Ans. Admission is through CUET-PG scores or direct merit-based selection by MAHGU. CUET-PG registrations closed on January 25, 2026 and the exam was held from March 6 to March 27, 2026. Results were declared on April 24, 2026. Candidates apply through the MAHGU official website at hgu.ac.in.
