Ans. The BFA at MAHGU is a 4-year full-time undergraduate programme structured across eight semesters. Students complete studio projects, art history papers, and a final-year creative thesis. The four-year format allows progressive skill development in painting, sculpture, printmaking, and applied arts, with scope for electives in digital art in later semesters.

Ans. The total BFA programme fee at MAHGU is INR 60,000 over four years at INR 15,000 per year. Hostel and mess charges are billed separately. Uttarakhand domicile students may be eligible for a 31 percent fee concession as per university norms. Students are advised to verify the current fee schedule at hgu.ac.in before applying.

Ans. Applicants must have passed Class 12 from any recognised board with any stream. There is no specific stream requirement for BFA. A valid CUET-UG score is accepted for merit-based shortlisting, and MAHGU also offers a direct merit-based admission route. Ans. CUET-UG is not mandatory. MAHGU accepts both CUET-UG scores and direct applications through its own merit-based selection process.
