Initially, Sandip University faced challenges with a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:70, affecting the first-year experience. However, this improved with new faculty hires in the second semester, enhancing student understanding. Classrooms hold 60 students each, with exams conducted five times a year semester-wise, resulting in a high pass rate. Placement opportunities begin in the 7th semester, with over 50 top companies visiting annually. The highest placement packages are Rs. 12 lakh for CSE and Rs. 3.5 lakh for Mechanical Engineering, with an average package of Rs. 4 lakh, and about 90% of students secure jobs.
Internships are offered but usually unpaid, costing Rs. 3,000-Rs. 4,000. Tuition fees have increased to Rs. 1,00,000 yearly in 2024, excluding hostel fees, with total four-year fees under Rs. 6 lakh or Rs. 5 lakh with scholarships like PMS and NSP. Contrary to other claims, there are no scholarships available, and all seats are under management quota. Additional fees include Rs. 80,000 per semester, a Rs. 5,000 development fee annually, and a Rs. 9,500 registration fee. The campus spans 125 acres and offers 24/7 electricity, seminar halls, security, WiFi, and well-maintained facilities.
