Gopal Narayan Singh University L.L.B : Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate to be eligible for L.L.B. at GNSU. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST) require a minimum of 40% marks. There is no upper age limit for the 3-year L.L.B. programme. Candidates in their final year of graduation may apply provisionally and submit their final mark sheet at the time of document verification.

Ans. GNSU conducts its own Entrance Test (GNSUET) for L.L.B. admission, which was held on June 24 and 25, 2026. Candidates who could not appear for GNSUET may also apply on direct merit based on their graduation marks. GNSU does not require CLAT scores for the 3-year L.L.B. programme. Graduates may also prepare for the Bihar Judicial Services examination or pursue L.L.M. for an academic career in law.

Ans. Yes, L.L.B. graduates from GNSU are eligible to apply for L.L.M. programmes at GNSU and at other universities across India. GNSU itself offers an L.L.M. postgraduate law programme. For L.L.M. admissions at central universities and National Law Universities, candidates may be required to appear for CLAT-PG or the university’s own entrance test. An L.L.B. degree with 55% marks is the standard eligibility for L.L.M. at most institutions.

Ans. The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is a test conducted by the Bar Council of India that all L.L.B. graduates must clear to be eligible to practise as advocates in courts. AIBE can be attempted after enrolment with a State Bar Council. There is no restriction on the number of attempts and the examination is held once a year. Clearing AIBE is mandatory for litigation practice but not required for corporate or advisory legal roles.
